Google, in January of last year came out with the introduction of negative keyword lists, Now Google has added placement exclusion lists and list suggestions. All of these will live in a new place on the AdWords left navigation panel called the “Shared library.”
Placement exclusion lists allow advertisers to create lists of sites on which they don’t want their ads to appear on the Content Network, and then use those lists across multiple campaigns in their account.
Additionally, Google will now “notice” when you use the same negative keywords or placement exclusions across multiple campaigns, and suggest places where you could potentially use the Shared List features.
When new negative keywords or placement exclusions are added to the shared lists, they automatically will populate to all of the campaigns using those lists.
