Now Google allow users export their data directly to Google spreadsheet!

Posted by on June 26, 2012 09:25 AM

Google Webmaster tools came up with a feature of providing users with an option to export their data directly to Google spreadsheet.

The download feature can be used during data grievances like Search Queries, Crawl Errors and Links to the accessed site. A new functionality has been introduced for users interested in seeking data from Webmaster Tools but avoid using Python scripts and API, now on clicking on the download button for feature like search queries, the users will be provided with an option of 'Select Download Format' to choose downloading of data from 'Google Docs' and 'CSV'.

On choosing 'Google Docs', the data will be automatically saved in a Google spreadsheet and presented in a new browser tab but if the user chooses 'CSV', then the data will be downloaded in CSV format which has been there in 'Webmaster Tools' for long and can further be transferred to Excel spreadsheet.
