Google AdWords Advertising Policies on the Ads tab!Posted by on August 17, 2012 08:15 AM
To successfully manage your Google AdWords account, you need to be able to create adverts that are helpful and comply with relevant advertising policies.
AdWords recently brought in a status insights icon on the Ads tab to help advertisers understand how policies affect their adverts. Now this is being followed up with an extra feature, a Policy Details column, so that policy issues can be identified more speedily.
The columns let you scan and sort policy issues for all your adverts so that you don’t need to hover individually over each status one by one. So you will easy find information such as:
• Approval status for every advert, and, if applicable, reasons for disapproval
• Specific policies that can limit where your ads are displayed
This information is also available for paused ads, which can be especially helpful if you would like to know the status of your paused ads or if you need to pause a campaign temporarily while you deal with some policy issues.
To check out this new column for yourself, go to the Ads tab and click the “Column” to begin customising your columns. Under the “attributes” section, click to add “Policy” details and then save. You should then be able to see the new Policy details column in your Ads tab.
